Minneapolis Vampire: Part 1
Content Warning: Violence and Cannibalism
My Dear Readers, throughout my tenure as a truth seeker I have often worried that I am alone in my search, a lone warrior fighting against the deceptions of The Powers That Be.
I am happy to say then, that our story of journalistic fervour here proves that I am but next in line to an ongoing effort to root our the truth behind our world.
After finding a copy in an old bookstore, I have digitised this tell-all account for all of you to see. Information wants to be free after all, and the horrifying tales found here may prove neccesary learning in our cause.

MINNEAPOLIS VAMPIRE STRIKES AGAIN!
Bernard Canning, Minneapolis mayor and man of business, was the victim of an aggressive and sadistic attack last night.
The mayor was discovered naked in his private study near the downtown area. His ears and tongue were removed, and several bite wounds littered his body - all seeming to suggest cannibalism.
Police are acknowledging the real possibility that this murder and a slew of other crimes are the work of a certain “Minneapolis Vampire” - as he has been dubbed - who is believed to have also killed local entrepreneur Alfie Worden back in April as similar wounds were found on his body.
This is a killer of a most peculiar and unsettling kind, in that he appears to only target the wealthy. His motives for doing so are still unknown. While it is unlikely that he would choose to turn his violence towards most of the general public, staying vigilant is advised.
I do not love killing, though I do love blood and the taste of people I hate. I kill for fun and punishment. I kill because I have an adoration for the body and how disgusting it is. Fear me: I am filth eating filth. You wanted a news story, so I gave you a story.
To Mr Canning,
I am a massive admirer of you and your - if you don't mind me saying - very successful career. You are a real inspiration to me and I would love to meet you someday. But this is not why I write.
I am writing to you with worry in my heart. As you may know, in the last year this city has become increasingly dangerous for the average, law-abiding citizen. Many ambitious gents like us have fallen prey to the vitriol of revolutionists and lunatics. Just last month, a young chap I recognised from business school was robbed and brutally killed in his hotel room. He never did a thing wrong to nobody.
I can only imagine such a villain with horns and fangs. It is evident that he has a particular hatred for the rich too. My guess would be it is his satanic belief system, that, to him, he feels killing them will in turn give him affluence, vitality, and youth. They call him “vampire,” a suitable name for such a parasitic monster. Seeing as you suit the exact “type” of his victims, I am worried he may have his sights on you one day, though I have no proof of this.
I call on you to please put an end to this evil ideology that is taking over our towns and turning our boys into anarchists and murderers. Only you can save us.
Thank you, Brian S. Green
Dear Sir Green,
I understand you are concerned about the crime in this city. Truthfully, so am I, and it is my goal to restore traditional values to the area. Please trust me on this, I am doing everything I can for my people; but we should not give into panic so easily.
I suggest you do not worry about this man. I see him as a kind of political terrorist, a trouble-maker of the worst kind, with no goal other than to rouse fear in the hearts of innocents like you and me. We won't give him what he wants. I intend to stand tall and count my successes, while this fiend chokes on his own evil.
Best, Bernard Canning
I laughed when I killed that young businessman. The one selling suits and hats and other stuff. He was an unassuming fellow, and definitely didn't deserve death, which only made me more certain I was doing the right thing. He was too greedy, or I was. Lots of people have suffered fates they didn't deserve. What did I do afterwards? I took his wallet and bought me a new suit.
